FAQ’s
How long are the teeth whitening sessions?
- You can do 20, 40, 60 or 80 minute session.
- We will start by taking before pictures. I will have you “brush” your teeth with an oral cleaning wipe. I will have you place the cheek retractor in your mouth. I will dry your teeth and apply Vitamin E oil to your gums to prevent any dryness or irritation. We will then apply the whitening gel and set the light with a timer and you can sit back and relax. Regardless of the session you do, we will pause every 20 minutes and reapply the whitening gel. At the end of your session I will have you rinse with water and we will take some after pictures!
- Every 2-3 months
- Those who are pregnant, with jaw conditions, periodontal disease or other gum conditions, have braces, recent oral surgeries, decaying teeth, exposed roots or jaw conditions.
- Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that there will be a perfect blend, but we try as best as we can to get you to your goal. The cap or bonding itself will not respond to teeth whitening treatments.
- If your teeth start to feel too sensitive we can stop the treatment at anytime. We also have the option of adding a remineralization gel for an additional fee.
Teeth Whitening Aftercare
Do not eat or drink anything for 1 hour after the treatment. ONLY water.
Nothing potent in color for the next 24 hours such as red sauce, chocolate, berries, or wine for example.
